A Day at the Races

July 1st: Really? Already? Didn't we just celebrate Christmas and spend our weary days complaining about how long winter was?
And now, here we are midway through our year celebrating the birth of our great nation.

As per what seems to be an annual tradition since moving out here...we headed down to the Millarville Racetrack for a day at the races. This year marked our 3rd year, and the racetrack's 109th year for racing.
We don't place bets, but find just as much enjoyment people watching, participating in the different events hanging out with friends, and of course, watching the horse races.

Next year you'll find us here again for July 1st. What a great event for families! Next year we plan to step it up and tailgate for the day! Nothing like planning ahead right?
