I hope everyone managed to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend.
We had a whirl wind west coast trip to spend time with family, and be apart of a family wedding. You know you've been driving in the truck for too long, when you NEED to call the masseuse the next day after arriving back home. Lots of driving folks...
The venue for the wedding was at this beautiful place:
RockWater Secret Cove Resort (Click to take a peek) Everything about it was fabulous. The food, the scenery, the company, the visiting, the catching up...everything!
We also had a chance to spend time on the Sunday after the wedding with my aunt, uncle and cousins in Vancouver. Three words...I miss them terribly...OK that's four words. I wish the Rocks and life's busyness wouldn't separate us so much. The kids had so much fun with my uncle touring UBC and then heading for a quick trip to the beach; and it was great to catch up with my aunt and cousins. It reminded me of all the summers I spent there doing the same kind of stuff, having just as much fun ;)
We rounded off the weekend Sunday night by celebrating Thanksgiving with Trina, Andy, James, Chelsea and their wee ones. We loaded up our boots with tons of food, and headed out Monday morning for the loooong trip home. My dear husband believes in only one bathroom break, when you gas up the ..5 minutes to stretch legs, grab food and hit bathroom...no wonder I need to be in traction!( not really...well...maybe I should be?)
