Many of you might also know it by its other title Lost in the Barrens. I remember reading this when I was in Grade 7 myself! Both of my boys enjoyed the perilous adventures of Jamie and Awasin in Northern Manitoba. A great follow up to this book is The Curse of the Viking Grave.
