2015- Radiance

I"m a little late for the party...I'd like to say I'm fashionably late, but I thought I'd share with you my word for 2015. Some people make a long list of resolutions, but sometimes, if you pick one word to reflect how you hope the upcoming year to turn out, its not as daunting as "the list".

Truth be told, 2014 knocked me down...flat. It was draining. Period.
Browsing some of my favorite blogs I noticed, that many picked a word to help them to define or redefine their momma soul. I needed to do that too. I knew I needed to rise up beyond the heartache I I had felt in the previous year. RADIANCE or RADIATE sums up my hope for this coming year.

"There is one thing which gives to RADIANCE to everything; It is the idea of something around the corner" - G.K. Chesterton

Maybe this is where the list of resolutions comes in, but these are my goals for 2015.

- I want to radiate love and patience for my family.
- I want to radiate my love of homeschooling and learning alongside my children
- I want to radiate warmth and kindness with an open heart and by keeping the home fires burning      brightly.
- I want to radiate a positiveness of life as much as possible.
- I want to radiate the love I have for my faith.

Vow to be valiant.  Resolve to be RADIANT ; Determine to be dynamic.  Strive to be sincere; Aspire to be attuned."                                                         - William Arthur Ward

This year I want it to be a year bright with joy and hope . I'm sure my rose colored glasses will get knocked off a few times, but this year will be a year of growth and maturity.

"Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces never covered with shame."- Psalm 35:5
