What Winter Dreams Are Made Of...

...well a least in this family. It took over 30 plus hours packing down snow and flooding the area in 40 below weather last week, to accomplish this:

With flood lights being run by our little gas generator, and a fire pit to keep warm; my crew, along with some friends were out until 10:30 last night enjoying their first time on our rink. Dave, with some help from the boys, did a great job putting this not so little winter project together in the back corral.  As long as there aren't too many Chinooks that blow our way, we'll have a great winter making tons of wonderful memories!

  1. You have your own ice!!! Color me so jealous. I haven't skated since I became pregnant with my first nine years ago now. There is no ice within a couple of hours of us. This is so, so cool.

    1. Thankyou! Now that we live rural, its been a dream and true blessing. My crew, our family and friends are enjoying this so much this year. My husband is already planning on improvements for next winter ;)
