A Quick Hello and a Happy New Year

I've been away for awhile from this cozy spot just enjoying the Christmas holidays with family and friends. Nevertheless my Instagram account has been buzzing. I thought I'd hook up fittingly at year end with Everyday Snapshots and post 13 for 13... Thirteen photos that described our year. ( Thanks Sarah at Amongst Lovely Things for letting me find this) This one was hard, because I have so many photos that capture our life out here.

I can tell you, that we took a huge leap of faith and fully embraced the rural scene. Last Christmas,  Dave and I sat dazed and confused on our bathroom floor wondering what we were doing.  We lived in the country, but spent 99.9 percent of the time in the city with activities and work. Let me tell you, this year has been a HUGE learning curve, and alot of letting go. There have been many tears of frustration, but many blessings as well. Those "A-ha" moments have been very liberating in all aspects of our life.  Not all the pictures reflect that, and I'm sure I could do a series of posts on just letting go, and embracing the gifts that you're given. However, I hope you all enjoy these few pictures from my humble little world, and may I wish you all a VERY Happy New Year, full of love, happiness and wonderful new promises. We will see you in 2014!

From our home to yours...HAPPY NEW YEAR!
