How Does My Garden Grow?

I'm almost scared to write and post this. Knowing my luck as soon as I press send, I'll wake up tomorrow and the garden will be a mess due to a late night salad bar frenzy with the deer or our resident moose. Better yet...we'll get hit with hail...this time around. So...here goes nothing.

Our veggie garden this year is doing quite well. the only thing that really didn't make it this year was the yellow beans. I'm not quite sure what it is, but its the second year in a row where the beans just haven't worked.
Everything else is doing great as you can tell from the pictures...even the weeds. We've had quite a bit of rain as of late, so I have not been able to get out and weed. I'm hoping things will dry out soon, so I can work in the garden, and then add more straw between the rows. The straw will be good as compost later.
This year we extended the garden by a few feet, making it nearly 50 feet in length. we also added ash from our big burn earlier in the year. This seemed to have kept some of the ants (not all) at bay so far.

As long as we don't get an early frost ( and I'm talking early as in August like last year) we should have a great yield of pretty much everything! I'm pretty excited! Next year, I'm hoping to add raspberry, Saskatoon berry bushes and strawberries...but only time and critters will tell ;)

Pretty lush..even with the weeds

Collard Greens...which my kids LOVE

I counted 20 zucchini plants. If the cold weather holds off, we'll have a bumper crop!

Peas are growing and blooming!

Beets!

Kale..which we just can't get enough of.

Tons of lettuce!

The spuds

My potatoes are flowering??!!
