Wildflower Watch

Now that the rains have subsided here in our little corner of the world, I've had the chance to get outside and take pictures of  the beautiful bounty of wildflowers right here on our acreage. What a gorgeous array of colors and species so far. We are so blessed to be able live out here, and just wonder on the simple things and all the natural gifts.

I have yet to identify many of the flowers, so you will have to bear with my lack of knowledge just in case I get the pictures wrong, or have questions marks for the captions.  I'm using this book Alberta Wayside Wildflowers by Linda Kershaw to help me stumble through  learn and identify the names of all the flowers we have currently; and the ones we have yet to come.  Here are a few pictures to linger over, and enjoy.
