My Little Book Case

For the month of May, there is a new "meme" on Instagram.

For the month of May, you post a picture of the above list. I don't think I'll have a problem posting pictures. Most of you know how vast my book collection is ;)  You can follow along if you click on my Instagram button on the top right of my blog. Other homeschoolers are participating as well, but you don't need to be a homeschooler to participate. I also thought I'd get in on the idea...which I got from In the Heart of My Home about having all four of my crew share their reviews and favorites on the list. For today, May 1, the book was a classic. I posted White Fang by Jack London. Christian just finished this book for novel studies. Here is his review. Enjoy:

"White Fang is a great book involving love, trust, hate and betrayal. In my mind, this story is considered a classic. Even though the main character is a dog, it teaches humans lessons about life; something which hasn't changed in generations. Most importantly, it teaches you, if you fall down, you get up and try again. I highly recommend this book. Reread it if you've already read it. It is extremely exciting, and the detail is vivid. Every chapter is a cliff hanger. It definitely kept me wanting to read more." (Christian)
