Day 2 for the Instagram Challenge is a book which make your children laugh. Around here, Robert Munsch was a HUGE favorite when the Keenan crew was younger. I managed to dig out these two:
I'm pretty sure though that we have the entire Robert Munsch collection tucked away somewhere in a box. The boys favorite story was BOO!! and the girls all time favorite was The Paper Bag Princess. Just a note of interest, when Sophie just turned 3, Robert Munsch was a guest author at the Shawnessy library. He picked volunteers from the vast audience of kids to help him with the different stories. Sophie was chosen to "help out" for BOO!! and the boys "helped out" for Murmel Murmel. He is an amazing story teller!

"We all laughed at Robert Munsch books when we were all younger. They were hilarious because of his over the top sense of humor. Between the illustrations and all the onomatopoeia used constantly, we would be rolling on the ground laughing! I think he's one of the best Canadian children authors out there. My personal favorite is and always will be "The Paper Bag Princess" (Sophie)
