You're probably thinking whaaattt?
Well, this year was our second year, we couldn't get into the Canadian side of Osoyoos Lake for camping. So, we went to the American side of Osoyoos Lake: Orville Washington.
The campground itself, was nice, we had a few days of lake time, but anything else? Nope. The only way I can describe Orville Washington, is...remember Radiator Springs in Disney's movie Cars? Yup....that old and run down, and that forgotten. It's hard to believe that from the 1920's to the 1950's it was a bustling town because it was the tomato capital of North America.
When we weren't playing on the lake, there wasn't much else to do. So...after 4 days down in the US of A, we decided to come back north of the border. More to do. We stayed with my Aunt Irene, had a good visit with her, went to the big model train display as per our usual Osoyoos trip, and we went to Rattlesnake Canyon to do some go carting, mini golf and Bungee tree jumping.
Here are a few pics from Osoyoos...both American and Canadian. Enjoy!
