The kids are in the APTA piano festival again this year. This Monday, Devin, Christian and Sophie performed their "pop" pieces, and received some great critiquing. Tuesday morning, Emilie followed in her older siblings footsteps, and had her first taste of performing in a music festival. She had quite the cheering section show up :) Her only disappointment was that she was only in one class this year.
So far, everyone is having fun, and the adjudicators are very helpful with their constructive criticism. This coming Monday, Devin, Christian and Sophie will perform their classical pieces, and Thursday morning the boys will perform their duet. That should be a fun one. They enjoy playing duets together, and they can usually "rock the house". Stay tuned for APTA updates...and better pictures not taken with my Iphone.
