Man! Am I a sucker for punishment! I thought this task would be easy peasy, but it took awhile. I figured that this year being our last year at this house, I'd try to make a slide show of the last 16 years of Halloween for us. It took a while to find some of the "earlier pictures" . Back then...we didn't have digital cameras...whoa.
Here is a slide show of all our Halloweens to date. I still think I'm missing a year or 2, but this is as good as it gets folks!
I've gone back to pre-babies when Dave and I were newly weds. Our first year we had a snow storm, and we were quite disappointed that no one showed up for candy at our Braeside apartment. Crazy!
You'll also notice, that Sam and Jacob Burford are in some of the photos. They used to live across from us in Somerset, but even though we aren't neighbors anymore...(they are in Evergreen, and we are in Shawnessy) we have gone trick or treating with them since the very beginning. I think we've only missed one Halloween with them?
What I also love is how the costumes have morphed as my crew has gotten older. We've gone form Thomas the Tank Engine and smiliey pumpkins, to zombie hockey players and heads on a plate. Wait until my later post to see what the kids concocted this year ;)
