Don't You Love Weekends Like These?

With all the snow we have had in the last little while, and now the mild weather, the kids have FINALLY had the chance to build snowmen and forts. We chased them outside yesterday, after hockey was done ( by 1:00 pm...which is a rarity), and we didn't hear from them until dinner time. The green space in the back, is now occupied by a snow family and a half built fort.
Just of note, if your dog likes carrots, give the snowmen a nose of parsnips :) Bailey hates parsnips. Who'd a thunk it?
Are poor snow family did have to endure the harsh chinnok winds, that whipped through here last night. When we woke up this morning, our snow-mom had lost her head ( hmmmm like most moms) and the snow-boy lost his torso and head (hmmmm I wonder if it was the mom...just kidding).
As I write this Dave and the kids are outside salvaging the family...which will have an interesting outcome, as you will read in my next post.
