This is the Annie I remember. I was twelve, when I saw this in the movie theatre. It's hard to believe that the original Broadway musical was in 1977. Yesterday, we took all 4 kids to see Annie the Musical at the Pump house Theatre. It was a walk down memory lane for me ... even for Dave...who surprisingly knows the words to some of the songs...I'm impressed :) ; and it was a new memory for the kids. They loved the show, and are walking around the house singing the songs. I have to see if the library has a copy of the movie. That will certainly be a treat for all of us.
