Sophie is reading Everything on a Waffle by Polly Horvath. I skimmed through it, and the main character has a reminiscent feeling of Anne of Green Gables...just with a bit of a twist. ( I think Ihave too much Anne on my mind)
Christian is reading Toby Alone by Timothee de Fombelle. No comments yet on this book, but it looks pretty good. I'll read it myself in PEI ( between all our "field trips")
Devin will be reading The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. I've managed to begin reading it myself, and it's pretty good. The premise is: looking at life through a dog's eyes ...However, I'm not to crazy about some of the language that the author uses...enough said. I've already warned Devin that it's more "edgy" than he's used to, but apparently, both the boys informed me that Half Brother, which they just finished also uses some expletive language.
I've managed to update our library list on Google books, so take a look to see what we've added.
Bookworms Bookshelf
As for managing my lists of favorite blogs, suppliers and such, it's a work in progress. Blogger is having some issues, so my lists are not showing up the way they should be. I'll try and wrap my head around this issue when we get back from our holidays.
As for the holidays...2 days and counting! Whoo Hoo!
