Contentment 2016

CONTENTMENT ( noun) a state of happiness and satisfaction (synonyms) peace, happiness, gratification

This is my word for 2016. This is my goal for 2016. I resolve to stop spinning my wheels, not sweat the small stuff, and be happy in the here and now. It seems simple enough doesn't it? But you know what? Its not an easy mantra for the every day. Life does get in the way. Comparison and worry will creep up and try to put me in a vice grip. Am I right? The desire to have more or be Pinterest perfect mom or wife or homeschooler will consume me when I least expect it! The key? To pause, look around, and learn to appreciate everything I already have...even on a no good, rotten, miserable day.
