After a very quiet summer, its great to get back to the books and learning. The way I see it, the quietness of the summer, was just what we all needed to regain our strength and energy for what this year will hold for all of us. Today was our first day at it. Its our eleventh year...Aaaaakkk!!! Eleven years!!! I now have a child in grade 11, a child in grade 9, another one starting grade 7, and my youngest is in grade 5.
I was a little apprehensive to begin, due to the sleepy grumblings of the crew, but we survived! All of us! Even mom! Yay me! Yay them! We're still taking it one year at a time; and boldly stepping forth into a new year, with new visions and new outlooks towards learning and living as a family. I've been to this rodeo for the last ten years, but every year, IS a new year. I have four children with different outlooks on life and learning styles. Every year as they grow and as I grow, it is a happy new year. Its a fresh start!
