Spring Fever

With the warm spell we've been having its just so hard to focus on school...even for me. Next Thursday we have our final visit, and trust me, Christian, the girls and myself our counting down the days. This afternoon, we took a short break to see if there are any more signs of spring out here at the Ranche. Nothing really to report. The pond is thawed, but our creek still has a good layer of ice on it. I'm figuring that maybe in the next week or two if the warm weather continues, that will be thawed as well. And yes...everything is still that drab, brown color, but the buds are pushing their way out. The way I see it, even spring is holding out for us to finish the "bookish" work of school, so we can focus on more student led, and unschooling activities after our visit ;)
