A chilly night to try out our new telescope.
We did manage to focus in on the moon tonight; which by the way was a 100% waning gibbous moon ( yeah ...I went on this site...http://calgary.rasc.ca/ )
I'm thinking this telescope will be a hit around the Ranche, but note to self : Go out to see the night sky when it's not freezing cold, and the lens doesn't freeze up.
