HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sophie. You are growing up to be a wonderful, beautiful, talented young lady. We love you to the moon and back!
Here are a few pictures of how we celebrated Sophie's birthday. We endured the -22 temperature, and headed outside for some winter fun. Dave hooked up the trailer for a hayride around the pasture, and down the lane. We set up our fire pit, hoping to toast marshmallows but it was waayyyy to cold for that. The kids had a chance to do a bit of sledding too. Afterwards, we headed inside and were welcomed by some warm apple cider, hot chocolate, and too many treats as per my over zealous planning ;)
I hope everyone had fun though, because I can guarantee the birthday girl and siblings were tired after an exciting day.
