We came home to this:
You`ll have to excuse the mess of books and piles of craft supplies. It has been a work in process. But that`s not what I want you to focus on. It`s the muddy, wet floor that we came home to yesterday.
With all the rains we had, the front bedroom in the basement sprung a leak while we were away camping. Thankfully it was contained to that room. Thankfully we don`t have carpet to pull up. Thankfully, our unopened boxes soaked up the water before it spread any further. Thankfully I can spare most of our stuff. We`re thinking the window well is the main suspect. The aftermath...still waiting for the builder to show up with his brilliant prognosis. This should be good...Never cross a woman who now has to clean this mess up!
