Right now:: I'm sitting in the cool basement. Besides the hum of the computer, there is complete, glorious silence. All four kids are outside playing soccer in the back corral. It's a beautiful 26 degrees, and the four of them have some extra pent up energy that needs to be burned off.
This weekend:: Was full. Saturday was mom's day out at super trains. Sunday we had youth mass, in which the boys volunteered, then we headed out for a birthday party. While Dave "tried" organizing his office ( the den) and doing some homework for work, the kids and I crashed with a bowl of popcorn and watched Surf's Up. We haven't figured out how to get Shaw on Demand out here...yet, so we are settling for some of our DVDs for awhile.
Some plans for the week:: School work, school work, and more school work. Our last facilitator visit is May 2nd, so we are pushing full steam ahead for the next 2 weeks. Now that we are traditional this year, I don't feel AS stressed for our last visit...but the tension is mounting just a tad to try and finish the school year on a high note.
If I find time, I want to:: Start planning for September....already. This is the time I usually start window shopping at my favourite home school websites. I also want to try and plan out our vegetable garden. Dave and I took the time this weekend and roughly mapped out how big it'll be, and where it'll be. Here's hoping to have the garden ready and possibly planted by the May long weekend??/
