I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas. It is a unanimous vote over here, that we enjoyed our Christmas festivities and feasts with our families. Two words: Merry and Mellow.
Right now, I have some cherished quiet time to think and type. Dave, the boys and Sophie are at the Russia/Slovakia hockey game, Emilie is in bed, and so are the parents.
Today, while Dave was at the office (so much for taking the week off), the kids and I walked over to Heritage Park, to take in their Winter Carnival ( it runs all week) . It's their first year, so the kids and I agreed that it was a bit lacking in activities and events. The theme revolved around the Junior Hockey games, but really...not much to do. I think if they want to do something next year as well, over the Christmas holidays, they'll have to expand the venue, or have outside activities, outside Gasoline Alley. Nevertheless, we still had fun, and got in a good walk. Here are a few pics I snapped from today. Enjoy! You can paint a big fat L for LOSER on my forehead though. I took NO pictures on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. What was I thinking? Oh wait....I wasn't!
