Monday Musings

I'm back! Have you missed me? Did the sound of crickets drive you crazy? Or maybe it was the 149 km winds yesterday that drove you batty!  Now that we're set up at my parents, I can clear the cobwebs out of my mind, and do some writing again.
I guess alot has happened since my last post since...well... I can't even remember what my last post was!

Last week was moving week. Last night Dave and the boys got the last of our junk  treasures out of the garage. The house as of noon today is officially not ours anymore. After the nightmare we had with the purchasers, this transition went smoothly...surprisingly. The move itself was easy peasy lemon squeazy :) We had a great set of packers and a great set of movers. Everything except the absolute essentials are packed and ready to come out to the acreage when we are ready to move.
Speaking of which, the ceiling is on, and the prime coat of paint is on. Any guesses to when we'll be in? I'm personally thinking before March. Anyone else want to venture a guess? Shall we take some bets?

We are also back into a routine (I hope) with school and activities. Last week was a write off, and I wasn't even going to push it with the kids. Now that we are a little more settled, I'm hoping to get a few unfinished projects done, and focus on Advent activities and Christmas. Wishful thinking? We'll see ;)

I don't think my room has EVER been this messy!

Organized chaos

Nothing like a fresh dump of snow on moving day!

Funny thing...we were coming home from soccer club, and caught up with our moving van on the Deerfoot. No...really it was our stuff!
