Another Year, and Still Enjoying the Ride!

My thoughts have been all over the place lately. I haven't been able to pinpoint an actual "Back To School". topic of any sort. I read all these homeschooling blogs, and some of their thoughts are poignant, insightful, and inspiring. Sorry, not going to happen here. So instead, I came up with a random Top 10 list, of things I have learned (or not), or things I have kept close to me ( now that's poignant) for the last 9 years. Yes people, it's been 9 years of homeschooling. Next year, we'll break out the bubbly to celebrate # 10.
So without any further babbling, and in complete randomness...

Alarm clocks are our friends...especially when the apples do not fall very far from the tree ;)

We don't need to go "Back to School Shopping"

I'm still terrified of the huge responsibility I've undertaken for another year.

Discovery TV, The National Geographic channel and library videos are a blessing on those ugly
challenging days.

Changing curriculum and teaching style is ALL good. I have 4 kids with 4 different personalities
and learning styles. Why wouldn't I accommodate?

Nothing soothes a weary soul, like a glass of wine, a hot shower and a quick prayer at the end of
a disastrous challenging day.

I'm blessed to have the opportunity to be with my kids and watch their "A-HA" moments.

I'm still up for the challenge.

Dave's still got my back.

After all these years, I'm still learning the 3 R's and LOVIN' IT!!!
