Weekend Warriors

It's been awhile since we entertained our friends, the Cook family. Throughout the year, we would see each other at the kids' choir practise, but 2(kids + school + extra activites) = not much time to hang out and have fun.
Saturday, we had a wonderful BBQ, and while Christie and I sat and caught up, the dads and kids had "an epic" watergun fight...3 rounds to be exact. I'm not sure who won, but everyone was soaked to the core, and I think some of our neighbors are counting down to when we move :)  But really...isn't this what summer holidays/weekends are all about?
