Quiet On Our End

It is hard to believe, but it is already August 1st. Where has our summer gone? Oh...wait...we're still waiting for summer to show up in our neck of the woods. This weekend has been nice and hot though, and I think that's it for our Calgary summer.

It's been quiet on my end for blogging...have you missed me? Anyone? Anyone?
We were  busy this week running around doing our "honey-do" list for the acreage. Everything is pretty much finalized, just a few loose ends to tie up. We've picked everything, but  just can't visualize it all put together yet. Meander over to my page on the side of my blog, to see what been happening. Things are moving right along.

This long weekend, our social calendar has been full. We've either had visitors, or been visitors. Once in awhile I like weekends like that....especially when we have gorgeous hot weather, and we can sit and visit and watch the kids play.

 ...And this thought ( and I know those who know Dave will appreciate this):
Dave is up on a no work day, before 10:00 am, trying to fix our plumbing, because our pipes have backed up this morning. No....I didn't wake him up...neither did the kids, nor the dog.
