We braved
another Alberta snow storm, and headed to our neighborhood library (Shawnessy Library) , for a
LEGO competition this morning.
All four entered their creations, and all four did us proud. None of them won, nevertheless, their creations were outstanding, because
they made them on their own...with no parental help. ( Can you see where this post is heading? I just won't go there.)
The kids had fun, and the last few months at home have been filled with planning, budding imaginations, revisions, rebuilding, replanning and huge LEGO messes everywhere.
Here are some pictures of my 4 winners. Emilie, built a candle, Sophie built the Canadian flag, Christian built a digital camera, which actually has a working flash, and Devin made a Shell gas station scene. Enjoy the pictures, and if you're having good weather...anywhere...enjoy that too :)
