I finally have a quick moment, after all the celebrating, to write a quick note about our Christmas so far. We started off the celebrations on the 23rd with Sophie's birthday. We celebrated with a skating party, and afterwards, hot chocolate and cupcakes. Christmas Eve we hosted the traditional Christmas Polish dinner (Wigilia) with Dave's family . (Note to self....build bigger dining room in new house :) Christmas Day, we hosted my parents for dinner.
The rest of the week has flown by with just the little things...visits here and there, and family popping by. The kids received some new games, and movies, so we've also tried to find time to do all that. My latest toy, is a new pasta maker that attaches to my Kitchen- Aid mix master. Yesterday, I tried my hand at making home made spaghetti noodles. The kids painted some pictures for Dave's office, so hopefully before the holidays are through, he'll be heading downtown to hang up his new pictures for the office. If I have a chance, I'll post the pictures on Artsmania, as I have with previous pictures.
