What a wonderful little treasure we have here in our city! I really don't think many people know of this place. Cantos has an amazing collection of harpsichords, pianos, synthesisers, and other wonderful musical contraptions...over 2000 musical artifacts to be exact.
With a very enthusiastic tour guide, about 10 homeschoolers and moms got a chance to see what this place was all about. It was a wonderful day which covered Science (sound/pitch) Social (history of music and instruments) and Music. My personal favorite was when the boys got the chance to play a duet on the "double piano". Who says you can't have fun while you're learning? :)

| This is a Kimball Theatre Organ circa 1920's. It's Soooo big, it didn't fit into this picture! |

| I needed this for the record: Probably the only time Sophie will play on a Steinway piano...unless she wins the lotto! |
