We went to the zoo today, and took a tour of the new butterfly enclosure. It was truly amazing to see the different types of butterflies. By far, I think the kids and I agreed, that the big blue and black ones were our favorite. There was another one there, which looked like it had 4 holes in it's wings. However, these holes were transparent spots! I wish I took a picture! While we were wandering through the exhibit, two landed on Christian at different times. We figured it might have been because of his bright hat and white shirt. The rest of us were wearing darker colored clothes. Devin had one land briefly on his head, but by the time Dave got his Blackberry camera ready, it flew away. Since we raised our own butterflies this past spring, it was really neat to see how "the professionals" raise them.
